AVerMedia LGP2+ | MacOS | PS4 Pro | YouTube Live Stream

eXe from Blue Falcon Gaming here -

I am looking to see if there is a better solution to OBS for live streaming console gaming. I am wondering if there are any pitfalls to GameShow I should know before diving in with my current tech stack and current objectives.

INTENT/OBJECTIVES:

  • Live stream to YouTube in 1080p @ 60fps with low-latency
  • Have Cameras Switch automatically during the stream
  • Use my XLR Mic for game chat and get captured in the live stream (I have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (2nd Gen) USB Audio Interface)
  • (Or my Razer ManO' War wireless USB headset)

CURRENT TECH STACK

  • Computer: 2015 iMac 5k (32g of ram)
  • OS: macOS Mojave 10.14.1
  • Capture Card: AVerMedia Live Gamer Portable 2 Plus
  • Console: PS4 Pro
  • Cameras: Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920
  • Background: Green Screen
  • Live Streaming Service: YouTube

  • You can download the fully functions free version which will allow you to stream up to 720p and test. The paid version will stream 1080.
You can switch cameras. You can use external mic inputs and use them on a separate layer if you want to keep it on all the time. It can do green screen chroma key.
